OCIP LAOS!!! THE JOUNRNEY STARTS NOW!!! LAGONE SINGAPORE, SABAI DII LAOS!!!

day 1 - 18 november - thursday - laos to singapore
looked forward to this trip for a long time! to the days leading to the trip, began to have doubts about the trip. like leaving at the wrong time. but.... it was worth it in the end. i would never want to miss this for anything else. went to the airport for lunch. burger king. fries!!! met at airport at 1. talked to ayilisha most. both of us brought emath and she brought physics whilst i brought lit. closest friend i have in ocip. sat with her for both plane rides. from singapore to bangkok. walk walk, walk, waited a long time at transit. bangkok to laos. food was okay.... love the bread on the flight from bangkok to laos. forgot to get immigration card on the plane. haha! actually, only teachers took it, so we all had to fill them in. saw all the people from the lodge. sat tuk tuk with team building group and ms vino who was so scared of falling off! ride was fun! so tired! checked into our rooms. gave the gift. washed up, saw a show on hbo and had no idea what it was about! tired! only missed parents and grandma when saying goodbye. we just talked and slept.

day 2 - 19 november - friday - nong ping primary
had breakfast. split into bread group and noodles group. drove in tuk tuk. was fun! windy! bumpy, dusty. met the kids. was a school holiday so its a mixture of kids that came. school was not too bad but old.... kids were welcoming! waited around, took pics and videos. went to the room and waited. played duck duck goose with the kids. formed teams, then whole group together. briefing whilst the cultural group went to buy flowers. was so tired! briefing, i drifted off. walked round the school with jamie and ayilisha. came back, talked. went to the festival that night. like singapore's pasa malam. well, no money to buy anything. they had sticky rice and bbq egg! told ayilisha to pack then we discuss what to bring, but slept before she could pack. she only realised when she asked if i wanted a biscuit or something. woke up halfway and asked her what is the alarm time. she told me 4pm! haha!!!
