day 9 - 26 november - friday - Xaysettha secondary
I'M GOING TO MISS LAOS A LOT!!!! GOING TO MISS EVERYTHING THERE! THE INTERACTIONS WITH FRIENDS!  after we left, the primary school is back to normal. after we leave the kids in both schools will continue their lives and so will we, but the memories will remain. guess dragon lodge will seem quiet again after we are gone. haiz....so today, everyone of us went to the Swedish bakery for breakfast. could choose between crossiants and baguette. chose crossiants. (can't spell both!) went on the xaysettha. got a buddy! Nouk! she couldn't speak much English so we had to use hand signals or ask someone to interpret. met up and exchanged friendship bands. went to the padi fields and saw them replant the rice. went back to a block and prepared food. actually, didn't do much cooking. played horrible

volleyball.... :( then talked to ayilisha's buddy, poppy. well, she helped us to interpret. oh yeah, nouk wanted to go to the toilet to wash her legs after planting, so just followed her there as didn't know what to do. and she thought i needed to go too! she tried asking me and i didn't understand, so had to get someone to interpret. omg! hard! walked around the school. quiet okay and advanced. science display, comp labs. ages 10-19 although poppy said that they were there for only 7 years. poppy wanted to treat us to drinks. actually, she said if we wanted to buy drinks, but we said that we didn't have any more kip left, then she siad she would treat us. so sweet! but nah, we didn't want to.
came back to the gathering place. saw some of them making the papaya salad which had chilli so can't eat.:(  nouk wanted to make for me, but i can'\t eat. sorry!! had lunch. nouk was so nice! ensured i had all the cutlery, drinks, enough food. thanks! had food like pancakes and stew(which looked more like soup in the end) which stc prepared. and egg, papaya salad, sticky rice, sticky rice with custard and some other stuff which they prepared. nice meal! soft drinks too! and they gave us water.
presentation. their school and ours. then we performed. i'm sorry for getting angry at the performance.... ayilisha and i were supposed to be in the row in front, but no one else was there, only two of us, so went to the back. and --- well, won't say much. overall, it looked good. i think. had fun dancing! :) then they performed and taught us their dance. yay! went back to the room and had gift exchange. gave nouk a penguin pencil case and she was so happy! gave  poppy a flamingo pen. also happy!! :) they gave us a potted flower. left the school. touched by them. really.
came back, had a long break. from about 3 plus to 6. long long long break! bathed, relaxed. went to angel's room. she tied french braids for me! :)  nice!!!! went to the pizza place for dinner, just down the road from our lodge. next to swensens. thanks teachers! about 6 pizzas? tw or three slices each. and coke!! went back to the room. and off to the supermarket. for last minute shopping. caem back for briefing and apparently someone in the lodge had a birthday and they celebrated. got a cake and they shared with us! last night... haiz. went to angel's room again. talked, watched tv, went back. ms vino and ms shivani came with ms shivani's blue umbrella as usual. played the bang game. ayilisha is slow! hehe. they didn't stay that long. wanted to talk to ayilisha more but was too tired. slept around 1 plus? maye 2? laos time, 1 hour behind us.

day 10 - 27 november - saturday - laos to singapore
sabaidii! last day! :( throughout the trip, played games like bang, around the world, um...., concentration, how many mama jumped over the wall. did math homework with ayilisha and angel, teachers came to talk, got to know more people, more friends. 9 days ago, it was sabaidii! today, its lagone. tuk tuk rides were fun, dragon lodge was great too! we sang songs like i'm yours, the climb, love story, the only exception, what about now. a lot more! will miss everything, like the interaction! :( 10 days seems long but i enjoyed it! well, woke up a bit late, meeting time was 9 instead of 8. laos time. got ready. went down to angel's room and got hair tied again. thanks! went to joma to eat breakfast. got into groups of 4 or 5. each person was given 40000 kip for breakfast. bought cookies and a brownie. filling! spent exactly 40000. sat with ayilisha and posed with the cookie box. teh lodge people also bought a joma cake for us. lemon pie or something like that. was nice! thanks! :) walk back to the lodge seemed so fast. last minute pack and went down. took pics with auntie sally. and of our room key, 303, that i shared with ayilisha. tuk tuk to airport seemed to pass too fast. well, said goodbye to mr khamla, our driver. waved goodbye to mr peter, auntie sally and joy, then off we went. some people bought stuff and just walked and shopped around at the shops there. cos no more money, so didn't buy anything.
from laos to bangkok, checked bags and threw away forks. so sad! thankfully mine was in the luggage. sat with christabelle and zann. slept from take off to the meal time, then slept till i didn't even know we landed. haha! bread was nice! transit. took a bus to the terminal and walked and walked to the waiting room. had to check bags and passports and they threw away things like sunblock? mine was also in the luggage. scared they throw away my knee cream. that would be bad.... took out math homework and angel helped me. omg. caused a stir. played with her stufftoy!!!! i'll miss angel a lot! <3 sat with ayilisha and jamie from bangkok to laos. food was okay. slept a lot too! saw the clouds but forgot to open the shades for sunset! :( it was very sunny so closed the shades. reached singapore later then expected. supposed to be 7.55 singapore time, but came out around 8 plus almost 9. waiting for luggage took a long time! then gathered and left. angel's dad gave us all flowers! thanks! and the airline also gave us orchids. whole of mum's side family was there! thanks!! dad didn't come cos had dinner. sad.... its finally over! goodbye! dear friends, keep in contact okay! i'll miss you. <3
