day 3 - 20 november - saturday - ta lat sao and rehersal
breakfast was bread and butter and egg with drunk men. went to another bakery and there were two men who were drunk early in the morning telling us how to behave and talking and talking to us. irritants. walked to ta lat sao. seemed like it was a long walk although it was only 15 min according to ms vino. bought 2 sets of 10 keychains, a notebook, shared book marks, 5 each with Ayilisha. keychains for friends and family. bargained. didn't get the half price i wanted, but nvm. haha! first shop, from 45000, i didn't want it, so said 10000. thankfully shop keeper said cannot and left. second shop, keychains were 35000, got it to be 18000. Ayilisha and i got a notebook each to make the price lower. we walked away, then they called us back. the bookmarks too. talked and talked and talked till we walked away and she called us back! haha! last set of keychains, didn't have time. so 25000, got it for 20000. scared to be late. actually, was supposed to walk in groups of 4 or 5. but Ayilisha and i just walked by ourselves in twos. wanted to eat egg prata(or parata as they called it). waited 40 min or more for it! only like 4-5 others in front and all from our group. someone cut queue! some local! still had a lot left, cos changed 15 usd.
practised for performance. got the rap of we are the world by hearing it a lot of times! some of the them got their prepaid card. whole group learnt the we are the world and waka waka dance. learnt part of the cultural night dance, till the chinese part. kimberly said she was bored so she came to our room for a while. saw that our room had two chairs and wanted to bring one back. our room doors were side my side. 302, 303. so she dragged a chair from our room to hers, then realised that her room had no space so she dragged it back. prank knocked. isabella and kimberly knocked our door the first time, came out, no one. second time, saw kim i think she said she heard the knock too and was scared. debated on who it was with Ayilisha. came down and heard siti say she knew who it was. and it turned out to be kimberly and isabella!!! wth! would never have thought it was them! came up and wanted to prank knock on their door. aulydia and andrea was inside too. so ayilisha knocked and i closed the door. they all screamed! we ran to the bed and pretended to recite the rap. but the door opened cos it was not closed properly. and gave the game away! hahaha! ops! sorry!

day 4 - 21 november - sunday - cope centre
bread for breakfast. today was not filling. played concentration with 15 people, which started the game trend. concentration and forfeits in tuk tuk almost everyday after this. cope centre. saw the history of laos, actually, the vietnam war and its effects on laos. the types of bombs dropped, and the old and new fake limps made for and by people who came to the cope centre. they also displayed a home that was like the ones last time in the war. and they also help those who had club feet. mr poon kindly explained to me what club feet meant. sad life these people had. watched a long video. was next to ms vino. when the movie showed them eating a lizard, ms vino sort of screamed softly and jumped and hit me. and joy turned and laughed! they had to evacuate a village to destroy a bomb and one old man said that the bombs killed his wife, his children, his brother. so it was like his whole family. so sad! the show was about the vietnam and a team trying to destroy the remaining bombs that were left after the war. some children wanted to get money by selling scrap metal and therefore bombs but get killed instead. rehersal. finished the whole performance! yay! thanks ebigail and angel for your help! visited angel's room. farzanah and marianna were her roommates. ebigail was there too! first day of period. crap!

day 5 - 22 november - monday - embassy visit and nong ping primary
came down late! Ayilisha!!! everytime we are down late, or halfway going down, Angel will be there to tell us to come down or rush us. thanks a lot!!! :) you're a really good friend! went to the embassy and heard him talk about laos. had cookies and sprite! nice!!! bought dustbins?? and headed to nong ping. played around the world and what can i bring to school today! haha! team building was musical chairs and balancing game which failed. lunch, played where will i go next. got it fast! and people came pestering me about it! had digging and could not dig properly cos some people..... and ms vino... came to ask for clues and more clues! hahaha! digging, found worms, and idk what else! roaches? and hit an ant's nest i think cos a lot of red ants suddenly came out. there was this big whitish worm. a bit of screaming. joy came and dug it out, then threw it to the roosters area! they scrambled for it! sharmila wanted to take a pic of me. first pic, joy came in! haha!second one was okay. during lunch, we played concentration with fruits. i was berry! joy said mongo instead of mango. haha! forfeit!!! went to supermarket and spent all of my money. combined with ayilisha to get biscuits and chocolates! yay! kitkat, choc, rits, biscuits that were hard like rock! discussed filming with ms vino, sharmila and angel. ms vino and ms shivani came for room checking, stayed for 30min!
