day 3 at EFL pulau ubin
woke up at 7. someone shouted 'wake up! 7 already!' changed, got ready, went to assemble at 7.30. was a bit late! woke up 3 times again! to turn here and there! did stretches! and then ran round the chalet place. twice. nice workout! was not mentally ready for it.... was tired.... had breakfast! had a lot of red ants! OMG! so wore team theresian shirt cos of wet activity. team titanic. build a raft with the class. against 3d. alicia, shimin, rezwana, jolin, and two others.. can't remember who..... must go and save our instructors. our was cherlene! saved her first! then had to dismentle everything. 3d dismentalled faster! cos their raft broke a bit. our was steady all the way! yay! so we won! cheered a lot all the way! went to do low elements. with the 6 people still wet! we had to stand on this moveable platform and then balance it! did it in 6min! fast! it was easy! had to sing and then alicia had to carry someone and sing! we did it fast! go 3a!!!!! went to the next station. spider web. didn't get carried. didn't want to. just walked through a bottom hole. and there were two eggs in the spider web... the center part! and some real spider webs too!! wow! so we did it quite fast! carry a few people and all! it was fun! and we had to do a cheer after that! went to the next one which is get into 3s. one stand on top, the other two support. went with chloe and sabrina! they supported me! it was so hard! it was just a tin piece of rope to walk on with friends to support! adn we had to hold hands with the people next to us! so it was harder! but we did it! didn't complete as no time. only the first group had to do.  lunch break!

we had time to change. after lunch, had high elements. did the one with two ropes and planks in between. shannon was our instructer. went up the ladder. was shaky! and people were cheering thanks a lot! it helped!!!! really helped! keep being told to go slower.... and one point, shannon said to bring the rope to the other side.. i was like 'huh'? how to bring to the other side? and other side of what? the plank? bridge? me? so wrapped right arm on the climbing thing and just moved the rope.. and it was done! haha! continued the climb and slipped. so legs dangling in the air for a while. scary. no prob getting onto the platform. once there, got scared looking down. shouted 'shannon!' karthika said he said 'trust me'! didn't hear it up there, but thanks! so sweet!!!! daddy! you're so sweet!!!! thank you so much! miss you!
well, the walking was easy. got to the end and shannon said jump down.... then said sit down. so sat on the platform and wondered how to jump from there. was supposed to sit on the edge... hehe! and then someone came to talk to him. so jump or don't jump? just waited there! the jumping was not scary at all!came down! thanks a lot! to those cheering and to shannon! and the helpers! yay! so just sat down and talked to friends about what happened. it was so fun!!!!! will remember this for life!

wondered around.... watched and cheered everyone else. then went to get teachers to do the survey. for PBL. then did a bit of campfire prep with some people. sorry sorry dance! went for the next element! with cherlene! this was tough. not as scared, but was tougher. walked on a tin rope with ropes on top to support! did a lot of matrix!!! haha! it was over, did campfire prep with the whole class and had time to change. gathered at 6.45 to do more prep, then dinner. xiulin left durin the high elements cos of piano exam the next day. sze ting too!

had campfire on sand! and at the hornbill resturant, also had people doing disco! so two types of sounds at once. sang a lot! well, we had to move the benches to the campfire area and got seperated from our class!!!! found each other again and sat down. got hyper on songs. danced with jiayi a bit. and sang a lot!!! jump and jump and jump. too hyper!!! well, its campfire! so we did  a few cheers and then performances. we were first! was not good..... first scene was classroom, where sherly, being mr ng, said that we, 3a, have a mission, to find jack the duck. then we had to look for jack and 5 people must pretend to fall. after that, we sang the song sorry sorry and did the dance, only, the lyrics were like sorry sorrry sorry sorry you lose i win i'm so happy in tune to the real song. like saying that we won and the duck lost. duck was pinwen. and he kept asking if he could get up... he was trapped by two people. then chingyi said she was hungry! so we had to kill the duck! and pinwen could not sit still. keep getting up! we sang we are the world... so say that we are sorry we had to kill it. then the duck came alife and presented a gift to mr ng! for his birthday! we sang the birthday song for him! happy birthday mr ng!!!! gift was a card made by 3a! and we ended by saying the chicken cheer! it was kind of a failure cos the sorry sorry lyrics, not everyone knew. and we messed up here and there. went back. and just cheered. bumble bee cheer!!!!! yay!! 3c and 3d collaborated to sing a song. most classes had a song. and every class got a class shirt!!! except us!!! so we ended campfire.... and mr francis talked to us.... after that had to meet up with the whole class and teachers/instructors. they talked.... and we had a chance to thank everyone that helped us. thanks to my group of friends, karthika, janice, jiayi, elspeth, xiulin! i was never alone in this camp! cos of one or more of you! and to my roommates alicia, christabelle, janice and chloe, who made life in the chalet fun! we didn't fight or anything, just talked. and we asked things like 'who wants to bath first' and 'who wants to sleep on the bed' instead of 'i want to bath first' or 'i want to sleep on the bed' so it was great being with you all! then could go and hug friends!! hugged janice, elspeth, karthika, jiayi, candice, alicia, chloe! didn't cry for once! at a camp!

went to elspeth and karthika's chalet to bath. bathed with elspeth. went back to chalet, got some stuff and went to karthika's room. could not find elspeth and janice. looked for them. they got milo. then went to karthika's room with both of them and jiayi. and some people were blasting music in the room, singing SOOOO loudly... anyway, janice left. then the 3 of us talked, took pics, watched video. ate twisties. then they left. but teachers were said to be checking. so jiayi and i left. went back to my room. talked to alicia, janice, christabelle, chloe, ate twisties too! and sweets. candice came up for a while. we talked, had fun! then slept at 1. i think. slept on the floor. wanted to!:)
