day 7 - june 3 - sun - london
woke up on time today but kept wanting to just turn over and sleep. can't turn over much cos sharing a double bed with york sun. been having a double bed since the 3rd day. everyone has it! tired too cos of the late night, slept around 2. breakfast was at the lobby. best breakfast we've ever had! buffet of sausages, scrambled eggs, baked beans, bacon, bread and drinks! went for a victorian trial of london. was raining again but couldn't be bothered with holding an umbrella unless it got too heavy. used my jacket hood instead! we walked on the london bridge just hours before the queen came round for her diamond jubilee. didn't get to see her, sadly! but still, it made the streets quieter so we could have peace whilst walking. saw a catholic church, a former graveyard and other places. we actually traveled round the quieter places of london. victorian walk! oh, we got round london on the tube! and my ticket couldn't work so whenever we entered of left a place, had to go to ask for help. and once, we took this huge flight of steps! like 178 steps i think... then went to the same place i went to 2 years ago for lunch. didn't shop much, just ate! had waffle with cookies and cream ice cream and jacket potato with sour cream. it cost me about 10 pounds! watched the lion king! one word, AWESOME!!! much better then the singapore one! loved the whole show, the songs, the animals, everything!!!
had some shopping time in the evening and bought personal stuff! 3 skirts for like S$40. and a necklace. also got some last minute souvenirs. bought Macs for dinner. we had 2 hours of shopping but most shops were already closed since we shopped from 6 to 8 and most shops close at 6.
went to the guys room at night to have dinner and talk! last night already!! :( epic cos we were in the guys room and the guys slept before us so we left their room and came to mine. but we were all tired so they left early. and after i bathed, came out of the toilet, york sun said she was still awake. after i dried my hair, she was already asleep! hahaha!!!


day 8 - june 4 - mon - london to singapore
last day in UK, last day in london!!!! :( so we went to visit the globe theatre. it was not raining but it was so windy!!!! so cold! globe theatre was nice! went on to visit the tate modern museum( i think that's the name of it) which is an art museum next to the globe theatre. quite a big museum and we didn't have time to finish looking at everything! :( still, it was nice!
went to the airport and took off!!!!! again another long flight! stopped over at dubai and columbo. dubai was about 5 hours stopover so could shop and had a free Macs meal plus ice cream. :D 3rd ice cream on the trip!
