first week of jc life!!!!

got posting results. ended up in jurong jc instead of cjc. so sad!!! lots of us are split too!!!! :( anyway, went back to stc to get the portfolio. then headed to cjc for the appeal. but forgot to bring some documents so ended up not doing the appeal. reached home around 4? haiz... so sad...

tues
first day of sch, in jurong jc(jj!). reported at 7.30. assembled in our OG groups right from the start. didn't know anyone in my OG. OGLs are stanley(kept hearing as stalin at first) and Valesha(Sarah-the girl i met at open house classmate! coincidence!) so we had some talks. then had a break. one table of girls and one table of guys. the girl table was so quiet! no one talked, no one ate either. then one guy came and sat at the table with us. made it even more AWKWARD! had humanities talk in the hall. then went home at 1! :) wait, went to cj to do my appeal too! finally! met xiulin and meiyi there. went home together. :)

admin day 2 at jj. had more talks. science and chinese talks. at break, we were split up, so went to sit with weihan's group. nas came too! :) yay!!!! had some OG time where we played several games. also learnt waka waka dance. went to buy a set of uniforms before going home! tried it at home but its too big!! :( btw, nuggets at the first stall is 5 for $1.

thurs
start of real orientation. continued to sit with the girls at break. but started eating more. like rice for lunch. played more games, learnt more dances. had amazing race where we had to go to diff parts of the sch to do some stuff. had to do a human stickman, hit a paper ball and let it stay as long as possible in the air, spiderweb game, acting out a machine. tiring day! but fun! ended around 5pm. had dinner with nas at macs before going home. tiring!

fri
day 2 of orientation! brought a pink bag cos my other bag can't fit everything inside. but the zip broke about 4 hours into the camp! maybe earlier. :( so we started out with a bit of dance, breakfast. then had the wet activity, telematch. must turn round a stick, hold water bombs, glide/slide across a mat, craw under the table, 5 legged race and throw the water bomb into a pail. i didn't do it! so just sat at the grandstand and cheered. but so few of us, the cheers can't be heard! :( bath time after that. then lunch. had OG time. played more games and learnt more dancing! partner dance! must hold the hands, turn into the partner and dance. second one was the guy holding the girl's waist. so we had 4 dances in all. waka waka, dj got us falling in love, and the two partner dances-5 colours where its the hold the waist one and oh my darling, the hold hands and turn one. then dinner!
JJ night!!!!!!!! no campfire! just lots of dancing, screaming, singing, shouting and cheering. and lots of jumping too! many pop songs were played so we just dance to them. then did our 4 mass dances. but partnered a girl for both the partner ones. not so awkward! :) partnered esther. but was with nas for a while and with the other OG 15 girls too. had supper! bathed then slept! kept waking up in the middle of the night. but there was aircon and fan, so its cooling!:)

woke up... changed. had to wear the same shirt as last night. we're in explorers house! OG 15!!! took a pic. went to do morning run! not that bad. learnt another mass dance. then had breakfast. did the mass dance with some elderly. went back to the hall for a final mass dance of waka waka, dj got us falling in love and oh my darling. then finaly wrap up before going home. :) end of orientation!!!!
