i wish you knew, well, maybe you might suspect, but i'll never get a chance to say it, or it will spoil other things. you mean so much, but i am too scared to say it. 26 of august is a day to remember.

so, 26th of august, yog closing ceremony
started the day very early. woke up around 7, got ready, reached school by 9. was so tired.... went to the hall. sat next to a. just last minute instructions and a video clip on our yog journey. from the start, till the end, what we did at the floating platform for rehersals. nice video. realised that a lot of things were edited out. we learnt a dance that never got in the formation. the one with partners. learnt the rose thing which also never got in the formation. and the rectangle, with the word respect, also got edited out at the last minute. so sad!

mr francis talked to the leaders. when we went down, 3a was already on the bus. looked for the bus! haha! mr francis took the bus with us. mr ng and some other teacher(chem teacher, idk her name) too! sat with tina, talked and talked. heard music and before long, we reached. seemed so fast. last time we all took the bus together. got off at some place and had to walk a long way to the f1 pit, the area where our bags and other stuff were. first class there! so we walked and walked and talked! had to go through security check. tina got stopped! haha! then walked to the room.

sat down, waited for the other classes to arrive. had english songs at first. started singing, dancing. dance with nasuha to the song baby-justin bieber. then came the korean songs. lies by big bang. that song make sme think of you. haru haru was played too! wedding dress by taeyang, wished that we would not be like that. got high on these 3 songs! lots of other songs was played too. change to purple shoes. didn't wear sock any  more. don't want another pair of white, purple, pink socks! we walked to the platform for our last rehersal.

didn't carry anything, just walked. reached, did run through. more of the circle, whirlpool. then ran through several times. tiring, and hungry! walked back. so tired! heard more music, had lunch. nice food! sleepy! time to sleep and rest! mr francis went to ask teh dj or music person to play sleepy music and he did! there was one part where the music was long, dragy, to let us sleep!!! nasuha and i slept a bit on the chair. was tired, but didn't want to sleep. wondered around. had a look at this year's chem prelims. ps, not nerds! just nothing to do! took pics.

then it was time to put on makeup. sat with yoges, nothing much to do. left and queued up. the queue for mrs gan's makeup! the way she does it is nice! foundation, eye shadow and blush! looks nice. thank you! took pics. oh, and suddenly netballers were called to have a team shot. so we had several team shots. two with ms mok, one with mr francis, two with mrs francis and ms quek. so funny! we were supposed to go there, crowd round, take pic, then rush off, but we took our time. haha! had first pic with her since we first met. next time, smile okay! and first time we got a pic together! jacob, abigail, yoges, trisha and me! yay! finally! thank you all! took more pics, then went to sit down. was tired!

finally told to get half into our costumes and eat dinner. dinner was good! put on costume, touched up makeup, got headcap ready. took our head gear and globe and off we go! got a bit nervous, but still felt a bit tired. contacts didn't help. eyes itching. so we walked there, hardly talked cos was tired. waved to athletes, well, a bit. didn't wave too much or get too hyper. some got kind of... despo? so walked and walked. took a pic with some person.... not sure who. reached the platform, smiled at some of the audience. some athlete, smilled then jestured for the globe. said cannot give! haha! using hand actions! ran down the stairs as teachers said to hurry. got to backstage, sat down and waited. athletes went out to the stage and went backstage to where we were! omg. okay, didn't talk or take any pics at first. only at the triangle then said hi to someone... and some british said good luck, and hit hands before going out.

didn't actually feel scared at all. in fact, felt normal, like its just another rehersal. so when the curtains opened, just ran as usual. there was this mist. quite nice. had to have a smile stuck all the way. a bit hard! haha! but possible. the whirlpool was okay, bird was okay. dance steps was okay. the bird was clearly seen. the wave could be seen. the heart was okay... looked a bit off though. star, well, could not find the point at all. was scared of looking down cos might have cameras zooming in from idk where. so just followed people, lost! haha! didn't look bad at all, thankfully. the words were really sharp! good job! ran out, through g2, then went to g1 by the back. lined up, had a briefing, went up. danced and danced. hit into a few people, sorry!!!! dropped the cap once. hehe. and someone asked if there was going to be any more fireworks, said idk... couldn't see many others from where we were, only tina and nasuha. so danced, and took a pic with some guy.. his dad i think, asked us to take a pic with him. so we did.

coming down was hard. so many people trying to get out when the announcement was already made to say let the athletes go first! saw kim , so just pushed downwards when people were coming up! kim, tina, nasuha and me thank you to those who made way specially for us. went right to the bottom. got out at the gate, thankfully cos a helper there said performers could go through. went down, turned back, couldn't see any one else. panicked, cos lost thought lost them in the crowd. but knew tina was behind me. finally, she came out. then turned back and asked where is kim and nasuha. couldn't find them. had to move in to g1. smiled at some of the audience.

just got any random headgear and hat. couldn't find mine. walked back from floating platform to f1 pit. was hyper. said goodbye and goodnight to everyone we met. even the athletes on the bus. we as in karthika and elspeth too. walked off after a while. croatia people are tall! some athlete had our headgear and was wearing it! how he got the headgear was a wonder! walk, walk, walk, went up to the place where our bags were. teachers were at our seats. (mr steven ng was at mine) so just took off costume at the side, then put just stood around. one part, she asked, why don't want to sit down, then just pointed to the seat and we started laughing! haha! okay, anyway, sat down in the end, rested. could keep everything except the globes. the head gear is not mine, just took any one. not even sure if it fits. had ice cream!

packed up, brought the chairs up and stacked them. didn't help much, sorry. cos some reason, didn't feel too good, tired i guess. so lined up in twos. those taking night transport back went to the back. went to the toilet. guess it was too much, couldn't take it any more. went back after feeling better. went back with the 2r girls. not enough space for everyone. why squeeze so many people onto one bus? stupid!

reached home, bathed, slept around 2 plus. so that marks the end of one major part of our lifes. thank you.
btw, globe became gloob then glove then gloab!
