day 7-Edinburgh-loch ness(both in Scotland)

woke up and went online to check for hotels. cos didn't want to stay in Edinburgh any more and didn't want to go hotel hunting again for so long! so after we packed up, left the hotel. sat in the front of the car instead of behind, so to avoid getting car sick. slept for most of the way. 4 hours, well, slept for around 2 hours. mostly cos wanted to avoid car sickness!! reached loch ness around 5? the loch ness is so big! and wide! went to the room, it was a nice scottish type of room. quaint, comfy. just like an old time room. just that there is electricity and some modern things. but the floor boards creaked a little. below our room is the reception, hope they can't hear us! haha!  went down to the restuarant for dinner. nice food too! came up, didn't soak as was too tired. and internet access can only be for the bar or lounge downstairs, so couldn't post. but did go online for a while at night. thought the password for the internet was messie.... then found out it was nessie. the sun set around 10plus 11! but slept earlier then that.
ever heard of the loch ness monster or nessie? its famous for being spotted in the lake a lot of times! and cute! but long and big.... will get some pics up soon.

day 8-loch ness
woke up, went down for a beautiful breakfast. haha! bread, eggs, baked beans and so on. okay, after that, went to the souvenir shop for loch ness monster! nice! but didn't buy anything from there. went on a boat ride on the loch ness.. which is actually a kind of lake thing. that is very big.... apparently the guide said that it can fit the world's population 3 times.. but idk whether its true. so we took a short bus ride to the loch ness. then about 45min of boat ride. it was great! nice scenery, nice lake. and went past a castle ruin. on a small island thing. the guide talked and talked about a lot of stuff on loch ness. he apparently saw nessie once, not the whole thing, but part of it. in the 1980s. recent spottings were somewhere this year, but i can't remember when. so after that, we went to the farm/stables to book horse riding for the afternoon. then walked down from our hotel. passed some shops. ate lunch at one of the shops. got scones!!! yay! okay, its a kind of bread thing, with chocolate or raisins or some things inside. its nice! eat with butter, its nicer!(apparently not many people know what scones are...) also had macoroni cheese, it was just a bowl of cream like cheese with macoroni inside. too much cheese though. and baked potato with bacon bits. 3 of us shared everything. went for horse riding after that!

horse riding was great! sat on a WHITE horse!!! MOSS! nice horse! and easy to control? didn't get his age though... not that big a horse, but its white!!! well, we rode through a bit of forest. and saw some people walking there. we rode on pathways. with a guide in front, then my dad, mum, then me. my horse had a rein to stop it from eating the leaves i think. is it called a bearing rein? idk.... took it off for most of the trip. it hanged down from the face and had some trouble getting it back! the hanging down from the face didn't hurt the horse, its easier for the horse that way. better then putting it on! but cos it hanged down from the face, i couldn't reach it on horseback. had to put it on for a while when we stop, but couldn't reach it!  scared me. finally got Moss to turn his head to the right, where the rein thing was hanging down from, so could get it back. we walked through two streams and our mid point was the loch ness. took two pics there. 3 of us! then went back. nice ride! want to do it again!!!

so we went to a jewellery gift shop near our hotel after that. and mum and dad bought gifts. took such a lon time! but the shop kepper was nice! she took out a lot of samples for us to see.  well, the jewellery was made of some type of plant. it was presses into a rock structure, then cut and shaped into ear rings, bracelets and other jewelery. the stone types. idk where the chains came from, as in that the real jewelery like the stone on the neckless was made from the plant, idk about the chain of the neckless. its like a normal chain. went to our room, bathed, then slept! all the way to the next morning!!! so long! 12 hours! not continously though, cos woke up a lot of times. it was 11pm and still bright!
