okay, so these are all the pics that i have taken. if any one wants them, feel free to take....

today was so fun! reached the foyer close to 7. heard karthika and lena singing their history song. then more and more people came. went onto the bus. sat with janice. ate sweets. took a picture of karthika. reached st andrew's secondary school. came down and went up some steps. then went down again and sat on some step thing. felt very bored. we got a free pen and a bag. but it was boring. sat with janice and karthika. just talked about random stuff and watched as the other schools came.

there were a lot of schools....  for book trailer, there was admiralty sec, SCGS, bedok view, chung cheng high, jurong sec, swiss cottage, PLMGS, pioneer sc, SASS, north view sec, hua yi sec, SAC, bedok south sec, marsiling sec, assumption english high, cresent girls, broadrick, gan eng seng, st hilda's, pres high, chestnut drive sc and dunearn

(i promised someone that i will post the schools that were there... that's why the names of the schools are all here)

finally we were asked to go to the hall. reached the hall and sat in 3 rows. don't know why its 3 instead of two rows. and we waited and waited again for a long time. then decided to hear music. after that had a performance by some guy with his guitar. and a sing he and his friends composed together. then had to wait again.

finally the guest of honour arrived at 9.10. and made his speech. then we heard 4 poems by a group of people. they were the runner up of some competition. after that at 9.45, we were dismissed to go to the canteen for our break or refreshments. the canteen was at a totally new block! the school is soo big! wish stc was that big.. too bad we can't go to st andrews. any way, for the refreshments, it was mc chicken from macs! tasted great! we then went to the 5th floor of the classroom block to wait for our turn. it turned out that we were on the wrong floor and the wrong classroom. we went down to the 4th floor and sat in the waiting room. the actors went to change into their costumes and did their make up. helped karthika and janice to do the ears of the animals. it came out. then i was free so went round to take pictures. took quite a few pics.... while they were doing make up, the actors rehersed their lines for the trailer. still went round taking pics. then we were called up to go to the next room for the performance. miss koh helped me take a video of the whole thing! was super scared!!!! idk why i was scared when i was not even acting. but any way, it turned out great!!!!! the whole thing was great!!!! 2C ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!

we went back to the waiting room and the actors went to change back. miss koh praised the acting. cos the space that they rehersed was so different from the space that the actors had. and they did well!!!! i just slacked around and then miss koh disappeared. afterwards she said that she went to see the others school's performance. we were in the waiting room feeling bored and i started to read the book that i brought. then some of my classmates wanted to do this play thing or scene in the classroom. we all sat on the chairs and nat was recording. ming came in from the door and we greeted her as 'miss chua!' so it was 'good morning miss chua!' haha. but we were too loud and so someone came in to tell us to keep quiet. remember, we were a class of 35 people!!! went back to reading and again someone else came in to ask if our teacher was here and to ask us to go to the hall. then cos miss koh was not back yet, they told us to wait for our teacher.

miss koh came back at 11.45 and we went to the hall. heard the poems. well, the those that made it to the second round. clementi town's poem was super good! haha, won't mention what it is about here. but it was the best! and they won the poetry competition. they deserved it. and some school sent in 3 boys and they had a poem about girls....... the bad sides of us! :( then after the poems thing, we had to wait again. finally, it was the prize giving ceremony. the poems on were said first. then the book trailer. i was sooo scared.... waiting to see what we got. they went room by room and when it came to the music room(which was our room), i was more tense. the third place was said and the second place was said. second place was st hilda's. was scared for the result. then the mc was like in first place was saint...... then stop..... then said, in first place was saint theresa's convent! and we all cheered and screamed!!!! mingfung went up to get the trophy with andrea. and we screamed again! WE GOT FIRST PLACE!!!!! super happy!!!!!! after that was the prize for the debate teams. then we could go back.

took a class photo at some part of the school grounds. today only had 35 of us instead of 40. still, can say that it is a class photo! also took photo of the trophy! and then we went onto the bus again. sat with janice. was so tired i wanted to sleep. almost did. we arrived in school and could go home!!!!!

2C GOT FIRST PLACE AT THE 2009 LIT FESTIVAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
